Demanding tour through a very quiet area and lots of wilderness
Challenging tour starts with a transfer and goes over smaller and bigger lakes through a very quiet area and lots of wilderness. Only wildcamps with shelter in the last part and you really have to discover and find nice spots to sleep, in the middle of nowhere, on peninsulas, own islands? The challenging part excists out of the longer and heavier landtransports compared with all our other tours and that you have to discover to find a spot to sleep. It's even an unknown canoe area, therefore more discovering and less other adventurers. These landtransports between the lakes are harder to take, but at least some dirty/gravelroads which are marked on our maps. We have it in program since a few years now and most of participants managed to do the whole tour, and those few who didn’t were just tired or spend to much time on the islands with beaches...
It is always good to go fishing, and for to find food from nature we recommend August and September. Even do we offer a possibillity to go out in nature, before tourstart, with one of our natureguides (if available) to learn more specific things about food from nature and/or fishing in our part of Sweden.
The 8 -10 landtransports are between 200 m and 3,1 km. (total lenght approx 15 km)
The total length of the tour is, shortest way ca 75 km, longest ca 95 km.

We are located just 1 km from the center of Hällefors and centrally located for wilderness adventures. Near Svartälven, Silverleden, the nature reserve Knuthöjdsmossen and Grythyttan. An ideal starting point or destination for your canoe, kayak, hiking trip or one of our other outdoor activities!
